Family Fast

Yesterday was our Fast Sunday. So we decided to have a Johnson family fast for Ryder. Ryder is Jen and Cory Swanson's little guy. He was born with Spina Bifida. His is four years old now. Outwardly, he is completely normal. But he doesn't have all his nerve endings or any control over his bladder or bowels. He has to have a catheter every three hours for his bladder. Jen and Cory have been working with many medical people, reading, studying and asking lots of questions to figure out how to help Ryder to potty train before his starts preschool this fall. They have really exhausted all of their efforts in knowing how to help him. So we had a fast. I absolutely know that Ryder can be completely healed of this trial, if that is what is supposed to happen. And if he is not healed, then we asked our Father in Heaven to give Jen and Cory the inspiration to know what to do and the comfort to accept the answers. I am so grateful for the gospel and the peace that it brings to our lives. We are so blessed!

Snow Shoeing

Mom joined the Likin' Hikin' Ladies this week. We went up Stump Hollow. There was a patch of beautiful, un-tracked snow that needed to have snow angels on it. It was a gorgeous day full of great people, warm weather and sparkly snow (my fav)!
